Description
Stainless steel Damascus steel blade blank designed for making your own knife.
The design combines a hard cutting core of martensitic stainless steel with a higher carbon and chromium content, which ensures good blade durability, with outer layers of tougher stainless steel contributing to the strength and durability of the blade.
The blade core is hardened to a hardness of 58–60 HRC, which represents a balanced ratio between long blade life and good resistance to damage during normal use.
The blade is ready for attachment to the handle and final sharpening, without the need for further modifications. An ideal basis for making a kitchen, work or outdoor knife with an attractive Damascus pattern.
