Sticky Alder
Sticky alder (Alnus glutinosa) is a European deciduous tree. Its wood has a fine, uniform grain with a characteristic warm tone. When freshly cut, it has a light orange to pinkish hue that gradually darkens to light brown. The grain is calm and unobtrusive, making alder particularly suitable for products where the shape and finish are meant to stand out.
