Ludvie's Oil - Red is another variant of this series of natural mixtures designed for wood finishing. The mixture contains the very best that nature has to offer and has been tried and tested by mankind for thousands of years. The tung oil contained in the mixture ensures rapid hardening of the mixture throughout its volume. Orange oil ensures better penetration of the mixture into the depth, and rosin and carnauba wax create a durable film on the surface of the treated wood. In addition, it contains a natural red dye that is absorbed into the pores of the wood and gives the surface a red tint. The mixture enhances the contrast of the wood grain, similar to any oil, but is significantly more color-stable than, for example, the widely used linseed oil.
