Sticky Alder

Sticky alder (Alnus glutinosa) is a European wood with a fine, even structure and a characteristic warm color tone. When freshly worked, it has a light orange to pinkish hue, which gradually darkens to light brown. The grain is calm and unobtrusive, making alder particularly suitable for products where the shape and finish are to be emphasized.
