BÖHLER M390 MICROCLEAN stainless steel is a martensitic chrome steel produced by the powder metallurgy method. It is primarily characterized by extremely high wear resistance and very good corrosion resistance, which makes it an excellent material suitable for the production of special and custom knives, where high demands are placed on the quality of the material used. In addition, this steel is very tough, can be machined and polished well, and is dimensionally stable. The achieved hardness after clouding is 58-62 HRC, with cryogenic heat treatment it is possible to reach even 63 HRC.
